Top Prospect, Paul Delgado
Julius Stecker: How is training coming along?
Paul Delgado: Training is going great, I plan on taking it the next level on Dec 6th.
Julius Stecker: What do you think will you lead to victory in this fight?
Paul Delgado: Well I have been in preparation for one and half years now, been in with different opponents and what not, but overall my preparation will be the difference in this next fight.
Julius Stecker: Paul Malignaggi is somewhat of boxing media darling right now. He is a guy who people expect big things from. How does that make you feel, when you realize how close you were to beating him, and that you are getting another shot at him?
Paul Delgado: It makes me feel good in the aspect that I am the underdog. I am an underrated guy, but it only motivates me more to make me go that extra round in training or run that extra mile. It motivates me to be at my best.
Julius Stecker: What are your interest outside of boxing?
Paul Delgado: My interests are living right and serving God first and foremost. I am a committed married man now, so my responsiblity is my family. Also I enjoy helping the underprivledged and less fortunate teenagers. I just want to help them have more oppurtunies in their lives.
Julius Stecker: What is your ultimate goal as a fighter?
Paul Delgado: My ultimate goal is to beat Malignaggi, and win a world title within the next few years.
Julius Stecker: What can we expect on Dec 6th and in the future?
Paul Delgado: Pressure, Pressure, hands high, good defense, a win, and Delgado-Malignaggi III.
