by Ricardo Lois
The last few days have been a whirlwind of rumors, regarding the Saturday match-up between Juan Carlos Gomez and Sinan Samil Sam, last Saturday the fight was reported as being called off, then on Tuesday, the fight was re-confirmed. Just minutes after the press conference for this Saturday's bouts staged in Buffalo and televised on HBOBoxing After Dark, Juan Carlos Gomez took some moments to chat with Talkingboxing.com.

Ricardo Lois: How you feeling Juan?

Juan Carlos Gomez: Good, feeling very positive, and just waiting for Saturday.

Ricardo Lois: How did you feel when there was talk of Sinan Samil Sam pulling out of the fight?

Juan Carlos Gomez: Bad, those Germans (Sam's promotional team) talked a lot of shit about me, and I did not feel pulling out was the right thing. Thank God that the fight is going to happen and I feel very good.

Ricardo Lois: If you win on Saturday night, what will you be doing next, looking for a few more fight to become adjusted to the Heavyweight division, or looking for a word title?

Juan Carlos Gomez: I will be ready for a world title fight and am looking for a world title fight early next year.

Ricardo Lois: Thanks for your time and good luck on Saturday.

Juan Carlos Gomez: Thanks.
