Julius Stecker: How is training going?

Willie Stewart: Training is going pretty good, I feel myself getting more and more skillful, right now I am giving 110% to training.

Willie Stewart: I watched tape, and he is not a very accurate puncher but he is very active, I have good defense so I think his punches won't effect me.

Willie Stewart: I had a good amateur career, I did not get some decisions that I should have gotten, but I did win a national title and a lot of other tournaments.

Willie Stewart: That is the main reason I took the fight, after this I will looking to fight the top Super Middleweights

Julius Stecker: If you had a choice of a champion to fight, who would you like to fight and why?

Willie Stewart: I would like to fight them all, but if I had to pick I would like to fight Joe Calzaghe, I was supposed to fight before, I was out in England and everything, but the fight fell through

Julius Stecker: What do you think your greatest assets are as a fighter?

Willie Stewart: Speed and Defense

Julius Stecker: Who are your favorite fighters to watch?

Willie Stewart: James Toney, Roy Jones Jr, and Shane Mosley, but I really like to watch James Toney, I like the way he fights.

Julius Stecker: How did you get the nickname "Slick"?

Willie Stewart: I got it while training in the gym everybody would say, "This guy is slick." My good friend Montell Griffin would always call me slick so it stuck ever since.

Julius Stecker: What can the boxing world expect from "Slick" Willie Stewart?

Willie Stewart: They can look forward to this upcoming fight and me taking on top ten guys, I want to fight guys like Omar Sheika, all the top guys, then move on to fight the champions.
