TalkingBoxing.com caught up with the speedy 22 year-old to get his views on the welterweight division and much more.
Celaya feels that he learned from the Sanchez fight, and it will only make him a better fighter. Celaya explained, "Honestly I can say and this may sound funny, but that fight was the best thing that could have happened to me. It was a great learning experience."

Celaya, who is known for his quickness, speed and boxing skills is looking to right the ship and he believes that within the next couple years he will be the welterweight champion of the world.
"I want it bad, I will be the welterweight champion of the world someday. I know I will be back, I have the great Emanuel Steward in my corner, and I believe that in time he will carry me to my world title opportunity," said a confident Celaya.
Jose, who is formerly managed by Shane Mosley, stills keeps in contact with the former 3-division champion and believes that like himself, Shane will right the ship. He offered high praise saying, "Sugar Shane Mosley is one the best people I have ever met in my life. I always want to thank him for giving me the opportunity to be a part of his team, and for him helping me out with my career."
"Looking at his next fight with Winky Wright, I believe that he will beat Winky Wright. The first fight against Winky Wright was not the real Sugar Shane. The real Sugar Shane was the one who beat De La Hoya back in 2000. I often times put in that fight tape in to watch it for inspiration. That was Sugar Shane at his best; on that night nobody could touch him. He needs to get that back for this upcoming fight," said Celaya, who will be looking to take his game to next level soon, planning on a possible August return.
In closing Jose added this, "Honestly in all truths, all I can say is that I will be a world champion." If all goes well in his return, his dream of a title belt around his waist may come true.
