DANNY WILLIAMS
Julius Stecker: How is training going?
Danny Williams: It is going really well, never better.
Julius Stecker: What are you looking to demonstrate against Mike Tyson?
Julius Stecker: Tell me a little about how this opportunity to fight Mike Tyson fell into your lap?
Danny Williams: I was planning on fighting back in England to win the British title again, that is when I got word of this massive opportunity to fight Mike Tyson that I could not pass up.
Julius Stecker: When you look at Mike Tyson, what kind of fighter do you see now?
Danny Williams: He is not the same fighter that he was back in the 1980's. I would say he is 40% of what he was, but he is still one of the best heavyweights in the world, and he is very dangerous.
Julius Stecker: Everybody talks about Tyson's power, but you have 26 Knockouts yourself, do you think that your power will be the difference?
Danny Williams: Oh yes I have a lot of power, but so does he. So we both have to be careful in this fight.
Julius Stecker: Do you plan on taking Tyson into the later rounds, seeing that he seems like a 3 round fighter now?
Danny Williams: I want to do that yes, but if you looked at the first Evander Holyfield fight, I will have to be able to trade with him at some point, to earn his respect.
Julius Stecker: I know you are not looking past this fight but if you win, where will you be looking next?
Danny Williams: I am looking at this fight first and nothing else, but if I win, I will be ready for everybody; Chris Byrd, Vitali Klitchsko, John Ruiz, because I think those guys aren't any better then Mike Tyson.
Julius Stecker: What if Lennox came out of retirement to fight you if you won?
Danny Williams: That would be a massive fight, I did not even think of that one.
Julius Stecker: What can your fans, and fight fans in general, expect from you July 30th against Tyson?
Danny Williams: Expect a big upset, and a great fight.
