Ray Alcorta and Maywood Host Telefutura Card

Friday, Jan. 20, Top Rank promotions in association with Ray Alcorta’s KO productions presents “Solo Boxeo” the nationally televised Spanish Boxing series will air live Friday night at the Maywood Activities Center in Maywood, C.A. The series which features some the best Hispanic Boxing in the world will feature Junior welterweight Champion Miguel Cotto’s older brother the undefeated Lightweight Jose Cotto (26-0, 18 KO’s) as he takes on rugged Mexican journeyman Ubaldo Hernandez (20-16-2, 10 KO’s) in the nights main event.
The bouts co-feature main event will feature Giovanni Segura (11-0-1, 8 KO’s) against Juan Carlos Perez (11-7-2, 5 KO’s) in a Super Flyweight match up.
The card also features Featherweight Juan Ramon Cruz (12-1-1, 8 KO’s) who is also trained by the Cotto’s trainer and Uncle Evangelista Cotto.

Doors open at 4:30pm with the first bout starting at 5:15pm the Maywood Activities center is located at 4801 E. 58th St. in the city of Maywood.
